Ordering Desserts: Requires a 1 week notice for all orders. Your order can be paid in advance or at pickup.

Changes, Refunds & Cancellations: All custom orders will come with a “contract” which will cover all details. This description must be agreed upon before the order is made.

Order Changes: I require 72 hours notice for any and all changes. No changes to size, flavor or decoration can be made after this time. I am happy to add any extra small desserts to an order to accommodate more guests for an added fee.

Refunds: I promise to do my best to provide the best tasting and best looking desserts around. Custom orders are created with love and a lot of hard work, just for you. Please keep in mind that I cannot create an exact replica of a dessert, but I will do my best to make it look beautiful. Due to the handcrafted nature of my products, I am unable to provide a full refund or exchange of custom orders, in most cases. Once an order has been picked up by you or a designated party, it is considered “Accepted”. All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves the shop. If you need to postpone your order to another date, I require at least one week notice. With less notice, we can reschedule your order (depending on availability) however, you may incur an extra charge to re-bake/recreate your order. In the event that I have made a major mistake to the design of your order and you alert me at the time of pickup, every attempt will be made to correct this error. In the event I am unable to correct my mistake, you can choose not to accept the order and will not be held responsible for the balance due. I never intend to disappoint customers, but please remember that I am a human, and not a machine making orders.

In some cases, you may qualify for a store credit if the product is brought back to me and the quality of the order is determined not to meet our standards. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of TaylerMade Sweets. Please keep in mind variety in temperature and humidity may impact the flavor, overall design, or texture of the order to some degree. Please understand that I cannot control changes in the texture or changes in color or shape due to weather conditions.

If you cancel an order before I have a chance to deliver it to you, there is no refund if you have prepaid in full or placed a partial deposit.

The following scenarios are the only instances when I can provide a full refund:

  1. If I fail to deliver your order on the date and time stated on your contract. Further, if customer provides the wrong date, time, or address for delivery, I cannot provide a refund. My liability is limited to contracted value of the order.

  2. If you come to the store for “pick up” and the order does not meet your expectations or if I deliver the order to you and it does not meet your expectations, I will give you a refund. This refund will be in place of a check (NO CASH OR CREDIT refunds will be given) NOTE: if I give you a refund, you CANNOT keep the order. You will only get a refund if you refuse to “accept” the order. I will NOT negotiate a partial refund if you keep the order. Refunds are given within 7 days.

Cancellations/Missed Pickups: Last minute orders (within 48 hours from pickup date) are FINAL when placed and cannot be changed. I require 72 hours notice to cancel an order. In the event of a Missed or Forgotten Pickup, I will make every attempt to contact you before I close the shop. Your order will be available for pickup until the following business day, but you are responsible for the remaining balance in the event of a no-show. Deposits will not be refunded.

Transporting: You are responsible for transporting you order home safely and I am not responsible once an order leaves the premises. Place orders on the floor board so that they are level. Refrigerate anything that will not be eaten within 2 hours of your event.

Allergy Warning: I do offer allergen friendly desserts. If you are interested in placing an allergen friendly dessert, please let me know and I will do my best to make sure everything is properly cleaned and sanitized to my ability to prevent cross contamination. But please be advised that I do use ingredients that contain allergies including, but not limited to: Peanuts, tree nuts, soy, dairy , eggs, gluten, wheat, etc.
